Well hello there, stranger. Long time no see. As usual life has been crazy hectic and I have neglected my lovely blog. I'm sorry, however, I am literally just a girl! Sooo, lots has happened since my last post. Here's the footnotes;
I turned 20! Bye bye teen parenthood. I had a really lovely birthday (I know Karaoke hates to see me coming) and am very much looking forward to seeing what this new decade of my life will bring.
I no longer co parent so I now have my son 24/7; which is as hectic as it sounds, thankfully my parents have helped an unbelievable amount (as they always have).
Halloween AND Christmas passed; Tommy's old enough now to understand (slightly) what they mean so it was super magical and special to see it all through his wee eyes. He still asks about Santa all the time.
One of my oldest friends Freya got engaged and I was asked to be co maid of honour at her destination wedding! So in September we're jetting off to Cyprus to see them say 'I do' in the sunshine. I keep trying to write my speech however, I simply can't stop crying. I've also been given sole responsibility for planning the Hen Do (which is obviously the most important part of any wedding) so I am meticulously planning the most 'Freya' Hen Do that there's ever been.
And the most exciting thing of all... I GOT INTO MY DREAM UNI!!! At this moment in time I am still processing it and it absolutely does not feel real. Edinburgh Napier here I come:) I'm finally going to study English and film and every time I think about it my heart feels like it's going to burst.
So, what's next on here? I have big plans for this blog, starting with a revamp. I'm still going to be posting my unfiltered life experiences but it's going to steer away from the single parenthood aspect and more just be my digital diary that everyone can read (maybe I'm entering my Carrie Bradshaw era). Stay tuned;)
